The MFH "Essential" flint (model 27104) offers exactly what is needed outdoors in nature: reliability, simplicity and durability. The approx. 7 cm long steel fire rod with a diameter of approx. 8 mm produces powerful, hot sparks with just a few strokes - even in damp or cold conditions. The balanced composition of lanthanum, cerium, copper, iron, zinc, magnesium and aluminium guarantees particularly effective ignition performance and a long service life.
Thanks to the ergonomically shaped wooden handle, the firewood steel sits comfortably in the hand and is easy to handle, even with cold or wet fingers. The supplied metal scraper fits perfectly into the curve of the fire handle and is connected to the fire handle with a sturdy cord - so everything stays together and close at hand.
Whether it's for lighting a campfire, a gas cooker or a barbecue lighter - this compact flint, at around 12 cm long, is ideal for survival situations, travelling to remote regions or as a spare in any outdoor backpack.
