Soft comfort and high absorption capacity
The Sea to Summit Tek Towel is made from a microfibre blend of 80% recycled polyester and 20% nylon. This combination creates an extremely absorbent deep fibre structure with a soft and comfortable surface. Unlike many ultralight travel towels, the Tek Towel has a more voluminous texture, similar to a terry towel, which provides a more comfortable feel when drying the body.
The microfibres can absorb several times their own weight in water and dry quickly after use. This makes the towel suitable both for long journeys and for quick breaks by a river, camping or after physical activity. Many users especially appreciate the fact that, despite its high absorbency, it can be stored compactly.
Practical to carry in your rucksack
For transport, the towel comes in a lightweight zipped EVA pouch, allowing it to be stored neatly and tidily in your rucksack. The rounded corners help increase durability and reduce wear and tear on the fabric over time.
All dimensions also include a practical push-button clip. So the towel can easily be hung from a rope, branch or drying hook - especially useful when travelling or camping.
Easy to wash and maintain
Tek Towel is machine washable and easy to care for. As microfibre is not dyed in fully fixed colours, it is recommended to wash the towel separately for the first few washes. It is also advisable to avoid fabric softener as it can reduce the fibres' absorption capacity.
Sea to Summit chooses not to use additional antimicrobial treatments. As the towel dries very quickly and is easy to wash, it stays fresh even without chemical treatments.
