The Teva Original Universal Sandal is based on a well-thought-out strapping system originally developed for water activities. The Universal Strapping System™ offers three adjustment points that allow the sandal to be adapted to the foot in a secure and personalised way. The resistant, quick-drying straps are made from REPREVE® polyester, produced from recycled plastic. This makes the sandal lightweight, durable and able to dry quickly after contact with water - ideal for the beach, rivers or small outdoor adventures.
For all-day comfort, the sandal uses a moulded EVA midsole, which provides light cushioning and pleasant support in the arch of the foot. So it remains comfortable even during longer walks or days spent travelling. The rubber outsole guarantees good traction and resistance on different surfaces - from city streets to light nature trails.
A practical Velcro fastener allows you to put the sandal on and adjust it quickly. In addition, the material is treated with Life Natural, an anti-odour treatment based on responsibly sourced peppermint, which helps reduce odours even with frequent use.
The sandal is completely vegan and is part of Teva's sustainability initiatives. The straps are made from Unifi®'s traceable REPREVE® polyester yarn, produced from recycled plastic bottles.
