Description
The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor III GTX is designed for demanding trail hikes where stability, protection and performance are essential. The high-strength ripstop mesh upper material offers a balanced combination of lightness, high abrasion resistance and good ventilation.
At the same time, the ePE GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane guarantees long-lasting waterproof protection. Rain, wet grass or damp trails stay outside, while the heat and moisture inside the shoe can escape, keeping feet drier and more comfortable during activity.
Many outdoor enthusiasts especially appreciate the balanced fit of the Ultra Raptor III GTX. Compared to the previous model, the shape has been slightly widened, allowing it to better accommodate different types of feet. The elasticated collar in recycled stretch-knit makes it easy to put on and helps keep the ankle stable.
Precise fit and secure support
One of the centrepieces of the design is the HF TPU Lacing Harness, which distributes the tension of the laces evenly across the entire foot. The result is a firm, stable fit without creating pressure points.
This system is complemented by double external TPU stabilisers in the heel and the TPU Transkinetic EVO Heel Stabiliser, which improve heel support and increase stability on uneven ground.
The Dual-Density CM-EVA midsole uses two different densities of EVA foam to combine cushioning, stability and support. The result is a comfortable walking sensation, even on long journeys.
Grip and control on technical trails
To guarantee grip on different types of terrain, the model uses the FriXion® XF 2.0 sole with Impact Brake System™. This technology improves traction, stability and control both uphill and downhill, especially on rocky, loose or technical terrain.
A sturdy rubber toe cap also helps protect your feet against stones, roots and other obstacles on the trail.
More sustainable materials
The Ultra Raptor III GTX integrates various materials with a lower environmental impact. Part of the upper material is made from recycled polyester, and the GORE-TEX membrane used is bluesign® certified. The shoe is also vegan and produced by a brand with Climate Label certification.
