Awesome Maps

Awesome Maps is a creative map brand based in Berlin, specialising in illustrated and inspiring maps about trips and adventures around the world. Each map is developed in collaboration with experts and illustrated by real people. The idea is to inspire you to discover new places and, at the same time, to remember all the adventures and travelling experiences you've already had.

The brand was born around ten years ago when founder Simon started rolling out the first maps by hand in his own flat in Berlin. Today, Awesome Maps is made up of a small, international and remote team of passionate travellers who continue to work with the same motivation: to create maps that awaken the desire to explore the world.

Sustainability is a central element of the brand's philosophy. The maps are produced using environmentally friendly materials, including OEKO-TEX 100 certified materials and FSC certified paper. Local production, offsetting CO₂ emissions and fair pay for all those involved are all part of the company's commitment to reducing environmental impact and contributing to a better world for the explorers of the future.
