AirSpeed™ system - cool back even on the hottest days
The centrepiece of the Hikelite 32 is the AirSpeed™ carrying system. The suspended mesh back panel creates space between the rucksack and your back, allowing for exceptional air circulation. This construction significantly reduces the build-up of heat and moisture, helping you stay comfortable during demanding hikes and in high temperatures.
The LightWire™ peripheral structure keeps the net under tension and creates a stable base for efficient load distribution. The result is a rucksack that is both light, ventilated and comfortable.
Personalised fit for any body type
One of the great advantages of the Osprey Hikelite 32 is the back height adjustment system using the Sliding-Yoke mechanism. This system allows the backpack to be quickly adapted to the length of each user's torso, guaranteeing a precise and comfortable fit.
In conjunction with the load lifters, the load can be positioned correctly next to the body, improving balance and reducing fatigue during long hikes. Regardless of your height, the rucksack can be adjusted to provide optimal weight distribution between the shoulders and waist.
Stable suspension and dynamic comfort on the move
The BioStretch™ straps follow the body's natural movements without compromising load stability. The breathable Spacer Mesh lining and perforated foam improve ventilation and provide comfortable support even during prolonged use.
The padded and ventilated lumbar belt offers excellent support and stability. Thanks to the ErgoPull™ system, tightening the belt is simple, quick and very efficient, allowing optimised load transfer to the hip and reducing pressure on the shoulders.
Practical organisation for hiking and pilgrimage
The Hikelite 32 has an elasticated front pocket for quickly storing a waterproof jacket or midlayer. The elasticated side pockets accommodate bottles or other frequently used objects. The pockets on the lumbar belt allow you to carry small accessories close at hand.
Attachment points for walking poles help free up your hands during ascents or descents, while compatibility with water tanks makes it easy to stay hydrated along the way.
Prepared for all weather conditions
The weather can change quickly in the mountains or by the coast. That's why Osprey equips the Hikelite 32 with an integrated waterproof rain cover, stored in a dedicated compartment at the bottom of the rucksack. This way, your gear stays protected even when the rain comes unexpectedly.
