A Lorpen T2 Merino Hike Light Crew is a lightweight, soft and anti-odour hiking sock made from RWS-certified merino wool - perfect for trekking, hiking, outdoors and sports. The combination of fine merino wool and tough nylon fibres with lycra guarantees high comfort, a perfect fit and reliable durability - just what experienced hikers appreciate from Lorpen.

Description

With 60% fine merino wool RWS (19.5 microns), the T2 Merino Hike Light Crew has a pleasantly soft feel. Merino wool regulates moisture, keeps you warm even when wet and prevents unpleasant odours - a great advantage on multi-day hikes.

Lightweight cushioning for long days of trekking

Finely positioned cushioning zones in the heel and toes relieve impact points and increase resistance during walking, without overloading. The medium fabric structure (2/4) offers a balance between protection and breathability.

Perfect fit thanks to Lycra and elasticated nylon

The targeted use of Lycra keeps the sock stable, even after many hikes. The thermoregulation zones on the top and arch of the foot keep the temperature constant and ensure that your feet stay dry and blister-free.

Sustainable and durable manufacturing - in the Pyrenees

Lorpen traditionally produces the T2 series in the Pyrenees with a focus on quality, responsibility and durability. The lifetime guarantee reinforces confidence in the material and finish.

Merino wool

Merino wool comes from the merino sheep and is considered one of the finest and best quality natural fibres in the world. It is super soft, regulates temperature and neutralises odours. Lycra®

Lycra® is the trademark for a particularly elastic synthetic fibre (also known as elastane or spandex) that can be stretched several times its length and still return to its original shape. In the outdoor sector, Lycra® is often used in functional clothing, base layers, underwear, socks or hats, as it provides high comfort, optimum freedom of movement and resistance to deformation. The fibre is often combined with other materials such as cotton or polyester, making it ideal for dynamic activities such as hiking, trail running or climbing.

Recycled materials

Recycled materials are made from recycled raw materials, such as old PET bottles, fishing nets or textile scraps, and offer an ecological alternative to conventional synthetic fibres. They are lightweight, robust and high-performance, in no way inferior to new materials and, at the same time, help to conserve resources and reduce waste. Ideal for all those who prioritise sustainability and functionality in their outdoor adventures.

Red-Cycled Nylon

Red-Cycled recycled nylon is a recycled nylon fabric made from reused materials such as old fishing nets, textile waste or industrial scraps. It offers the same tear resistance, lightness and durability as conventional nylon, but is significantly more environmentally friendly. In the field of outdoor activities, Red-Cycled Nylon is used, for example, in backpacks, tents or functional clothing - ideal for those who want to combine sustainability and performance
