Description
One of the most striking features of the IKOS EVO TR2 is its Tension Ridge™ construction. The tent's poles curve upwards, similar to the wings of an aeroplane, instead of down towards the sides as in most tents. This significantly increases the interior volume, creating more head and shoulder room. At the same time, the taller doors make it easier to get in and out and create more space for storing equipment.
Improved indoor climate
The Apex Vent ventilation system, located at the top of the tent, allows for very effective air circulation. Hot, humid air can escape easily, while rain protection remains guaranteed. In combination with water-resistant zips and an adjustable storm flap, this system improves weather protection and significantly reduces condensation inside.
Robust materials for demanding adventures
The IKOS EVO TR2 is built to be especially tough. The outer roof uses durable 68D polyester, while the frame is made up of DAC MX aluminium rods - a quality standard that is highly regarded in the tent industry. This combination offers stability and durability for both self-contained trekking and camping trips with a vehicle.
Simple assembly and clever details
Thanks to the symmetrical architecture, colour-coded rods and intuitive components, the tent can be set up quickly and easily. The Hold Fast Clips in anodised aluminium connect the frame, roof and inner tent securely and can be used easily even with gloves on.
Small details make camping life even more comfortable. A gear loft helps keep the interior organised and the included groundsheet protects the tent floor. A particularly clever detail is the rod bag, which can function as a Lightbar: placing a head torch inside the bag creates soft, diffused lighting inside the tent.
Flexible for different conditions
The IKOS EVO TR2 can be set up in several different modes. In addition to the classic configuration, it is possible to use Hangout Mode or Stargazing Mode, allowing you to partially open the roof or create a light shelter for relaxing. This makes the tent very versatile in different conditions and environments.
Materials with less environmental impact
Sea to Summit uses recycled materials and bluesign® approved fabrics, completely avoids PFAS compounds and does not use flame retardants. The green anodised DAC rods use a manufacturing process that significantly reduces water consumption.
