On the ground, every gram counts - and that's precisely where the Garmont 9.81 ETERE excels. Developed for Speed Hiking and sports mountaineering, it adapts easily to different paces and strides. Whether on technical trails, fast climbs or demanding descents, it offers a direct and responsive feel when in contact with the ground.
Lightweight and breathable upper material for maximum agility
The polyester upper with high-tenacity polyamide yarn is light, resistant and quick-drying. It guarantees good ventilation and comfort even during intense exertion and at higher temperatures. The model is built without a membrane, favouring breathability and weight reduction.
Precise fit with a.d.d.® and Heel Lock System
The a.d.d.® (Anatomically Directed Design) system takes into account the natural asymmetries of the foot, providing an ergonomic and stable fit. The asymmetrical shoelace follows the anatomical shape of the foot for greater precision. The Heel Lock System secures the heel, reduces slippage and helps prevent blisters - especially on fast descents or at a faster pace.
