The Garmont Nexus is designed for those who like to walk on marked trails, forest paths or slightly rocky terrain, prioritising low weight and a comfortable foot climate. At around 315g per shoe (size 42), it is barely felt on the foot, but transmits stability on the ground. “It's super light, but you feel secure even on uneven ground” - this is how many users describe the experience.
The breathable mesh upper favours air circulation and helps keep the foot comfortable, especially on hotter days or long runs. The material dries quickly and maintains a pleasant wear even with intense effort. The anti-torsion TPU inserts in the midfoot area increase stability on uneven ground and support a natural stride.
One of the central elements is the a.d.d.® (Anatomically Directed Design) system, which takes into account the natural asymmetry of the foot and clearly improves the fit. The asymmetrical grip follows the anatomical shape of the foot, while the anatomical tongue with differentiated padding adapts to the instep. The result is a precise fit with no pressure points.
G-WRAP technology is directly linked to the grip system and wraps around the forefoot, providing greater stability and a feeling of security, especially when changing direction quickly or on stony ground.
For reliable grip, the Vibram® Durmast sole with XS Trek+ compound and Traction Lug technology increases traction to 25%, guaranteeing safety on different types of terrain - from dirt tracks to slightly rocky areas. The EVA midsole offers medium, balanced cushioning, making the Nexus a versatile option for active days out in nature.
