A Osprey Sirrus 36 is a women's hiking backpack with 36 litres of capacity, exceptional ventilation and maximum carrying comfort. Thanks to the AirSpeed™ back system, integrated rain cover and intelligent organisation, it's ideal for day hikes, demanding trails and short overnight adventures.
Anyone who spends hours on the trail knows that comfort makes all the difference. This is precisely where the Sirrus 36 excels. The adjustable fit, specifically developed for the female anatomy, combined with the highly ventilated AirSpeed™ system, guarantees a cool and comfortable feel even on hot days or intense climbs.
Everything has its place
The spacious main compartment with top access (toploader) and drawstring closure allows quick access to your gear. The lower zipped access leads directly to the separate compartment - perfect for sleeping bags or extra clothes. The large front pocket with vertical zip, two zip pockets on the lumbar belt and elasticated side pockets make it easy to organise your essentials.
Practical details such as the Stow-on-the-Go™ system for quick attachment of trekking poles, piolet holder, compression straps and front attachment points make this backpack versatile - from summer trails to more technical routes.
AirSpeed™ Back System
The LightWire peripheral frame offers stability and excellent load transfer. The tensioned mesh back panel creates a space between the back and the body of the rucksack, allowing continuous air circulation. The result: less heat build-up and greater comfort on long stages.
Straps and Lumbar Belt
The padded, edgeless shoulder straps with breathable Spacermesh distribute the weight evenly. Perforated ventilation channels further increase breathability. The adjustable chest strap includes magnetic closure, emergency whistle and magnetic attachment for hydration valve.
The ErgoPull™ system on the lumbar belt adapts to the body and ensures a stable and comfortable load transfer to the hip - essential when the rucksack is fully loaded.
Mackintosh included
The waterproof rain cover is stored in the lower compartment and is ready to use in seconds - guaranteed protection when the weather suddenly changes.
Sustainability
As a bluesign® PRODUCT, Sirrus 36 fulfils strict environmental and social criteria. It is made from recycled and bluesign® certified nylon 100 %, with PFAS-free DWR treatment.

AirSpeed™ The Osprey AirSpeed™ carrying system combines incredible comfort with optimum ventilation - ideal for sweaty hikes on hot days. A stretch mesh fabric creates space between the back and the rucksack, allowing air to circulate freely. The lightweight structure ensures stable load distribution without restricting freedom of movement. So your back stays pleasantly dry, even when the going gets tough. ,All Mighty Guarantee Since 1974, Osprey has been dedicated to developing and manufacturing high-quality products. If, under normal conditions of use and maintenance, any defect in material or manufacture is detected, Osprey Packs will repair or replace the product free of charge. ,bluesign® bluesign® is an independent sustainability label that certifies textiles produced in an environmentally friendly and health-safe way. Products with bluesign® certification meet strict requirements throughout the entire production chain - from conserving resources and refraining from using harmful chemicals to fair labour conditions. For outdoor clothing, that means: maximum functionality with minimum environmental impact! ,integrated waterproof cover A waterproof cover effectively protects your rucksack and its contents from rain, snow and moisture. It fits easily over the rucksack and ensures that equipment and clothing stay dry, even in bad weather. Ideal for hiking, trekking and everyday use in unstable weather conditions. ,B Corporation Certificate The B Corporation certificate honours companies that not only seek economic profit, but also have a measurable positive impact on the environment and society. Criteria such as sustainability, fair working conditions, transparency and social responsibility are assessed. More and more outdoor brands are obtaining B Corp certification to demonstrate their commitment to people and nature. ,DWR without PFAS DWR without PFAS offers a long-lasting, water-repellent finish that keeps fabrics dry while avoiding the use of per- and polyfluoroalkylated substances. These “eternal chemicals” are associated with environmental and health risks, which is why modern alternatives use silicone, paraffin or plant-based technologies. The result is reliable water resistance with less impact on people and nature. ,ErgoPull™ ErgoPull™ is an ergonomic adjustment system for the lap belt of rucksacks. Instead of pulling the straps outwards, they are tightened inwards, towards the body. This allows the belt to be adjusted more easily, precisely and with less effort - even when the rucksack is already loaded. The result: better weight distribution over the hips, greater stability when hiking or trekking and much more comfort, especially on long journeys. ,LightWire™ The Osprey LightWire™ carrying system combines a super-lightweight but sturdy aluminium frame with efficient weight distribution from the shoulders to the hips. This makes the rucksack comfortable even on long hikes, with noticeable relief and more freedom of movement. In combination with ventilation systems on the back, LightWire™ also ensures good air circulation on the back. |

bluesign® bluesign® is an independent sustainability label that certifies ecological, health-safe and responsibly produced textiles. It takes into account the entire supply chain - from raw materials to chemicals and final production - with the aim of preserving resources, minimising environmental impact and excluding harmful substances. bluesign® certified products guarantee the highest safety and environmental standards and are ideal for anyone looking for transparency, responsibility and sustainability when buying outdoor clothing and equipment. ,Recycled materials Recycled materials are made from recycled raw materials, such as old PET bottles, fishing nets or textile scraps, and offer an ecological alternative to conventional synthetic fibres. They are lightweight, robust and high-performance, in no way inferior to new materials and, at the same time, help to conserve resources and reduce waste. Ideal for all those who prioritise sustainability and functionality in their outdoor adventures. ,Nylon Nylon is a particularly resistant and versatile synthetic fibre, often used in functional and outdoor clothing, backpacks and equipment. The material is characterised by high tear resistance, durability and low weight. In addition, nylon dries very quickly, is easy to care for and retains its shape even with heavy use. In outdoor clothing, nylon protects against wind and abrasion, while in backpacks or tents it is synonymous with durability and stability. |
